In honor of the late Nobel laureate Wangari Maathai, a pioneering environmentalist, Buru Buru Girls High School celebrated the Wangari Maathai Environment Day with a special event that highlighted the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability.

Charlene Ruto and Kimani Wachira, representatives of the Pan African Congress Kenya for Green Africa, played a pivotal role in organizing and participating in the event.
